Website URLs and settings
Device Simulator handles entered URLs and preview settings in your browser’s page memory. The application does not store a history in local storage, use an account system, or send your URLs to an application backend. Ordinary page reloads reset the workspace; opening or reloading a shared link restores the settings encoded in that link. Shared links include the loaded website URL and display settings in the URL fragment. Anyone with the link can read those values. Copying a share link writes it to your clipboard.
Embedded websites
When you load a URL, your browser requests that website directly in an iframe. The website can receive network information such as your IP address and browser details, and may use cookies or storage subject to your browser settings. Its own privacy policy applies. Any information you enter into an embedded form goes to that website.
Hosting and technical requests
The service hosting this static website may process request logs, including IP addresses and requested pages, to deliver and secure the site. Retention and processing depend on the hosting provider selected by the site operator.
Advertising and analytics
This version of Device Simulator does not load advertising or analytics scripts. If advertising is enabled in the future, this notice must be updated to identify the relevant providers, data uses, cookies, and available consent controls before those scripts are activated.
Your choices
You can use the included local demo without loading an external website. To stop an embedded website, select “Try the demo” or close the page. You can manage third-party cookies and website storage through your browser settings.
